“You’ve been my favorite part of this city.”

Devon Sinclair is the singer of Sinister Riot, and he's Abby's best friend. She's in love with him, but fears she'll lose him if she makes the first move. Devon knows adding Eli to the band is a mistake, and he's right. Eli's interested in more than just making an album. He wants to take control of the band, and he wants to get to know Abby better. A lot better. When tensions between Devon and Eli threaten to destroy Sinister Riot, Abby must act on her true feelings or lose everything she's ever wanted.

“I may not have been your first, but I’m going to make damn sure I’m your last.”

Too Many Reasons (A Spotlight Series #2) by Kristen Strassel
Abby manages the struggling band Sinister Riot. Devon, her BFF and boy crush is the lead singer. She has been in love with him since high school. He, however can't seem to recipate the same feelings and chases EVERY other skirt while she sit back and watch (for eight long years....how is that possible?).

With all of Abby's hard work, the band finally gets notice by a major label and they are introduced to Spotlight winner, Eli singer and guitarist. The label signs them and want to replace one of the members with Eli.

Meanwhile, Abby is struggling with where she fits in with all the new changes and how she can change the relationship she has with Devon to something more. Eli takes notice of Abby and she realizes what she has been missing by not dating and waiting for Devon.

Trouble is brewing all around with Eli, Devon, Abby and the band. The "Abby, Eli and Devon" drama was played out and all ended well. The problems and drama surrounding the band comes to a head with a surprising and happy ending for all including Abby.

This book is chock full of music industry related business and ties in nicely with the previous book, Secondhand Heart. Not the regular rock and roll band book, it's much tamer.

Kristen shares a birthday with Steven Tyler and Diana Ross. She spends each day striving to be half as fabulous as they are. She’s worn many hats, none as flattering as her cowboy hat: banker, retail manager, fledgling web designer, world’s worst cocktail waitress, panty slinger, now makeup artist and author. She loves sunshine, live music, the middle of nowhere, and finding new things to put in her house.
