May's Review Recap

Still by Alessandra Torre
My feet hurt. Four inches of a-size-too-small shoes will do that to a girl. Especially a girl who is used to sensible flats, paired with nylons and JC Penny skirt suits. But your best friend only gets married once, and when she is paying for an all-expense paid bachelorette party to the Bahamas, the sane thing to do is hop on that plane, put on your sexiest pair of strappies, sip on penis-shaped straws, and dance your feet off. I wasn't looking for a man. Wasn't planning to do anything but hobble my swollen feet up to the room and collapse. Maybe splurge on minibar candy and a six dollar bottle of water. I may not have been looking, but when you run into a man like Brett Jacobs, you don't walk away. You wipe up your drool, remember your southern graces, and bat your eyelashes. I may have forgotten my southern graces. They may have gotten lost in the pushmeupagainstthewall and takemehere action that occurred. In the clothesripping ohmygod action that followed. They may have, along with my sanity and common sense, left me with bruised lips, ripped panties, multiple orgasms, and blistered feet. God bless cheap shoes, impulse decisions, and weak willpower.

I’ve stopped dating. When I cut a record, or win a Grammy, maybe then I’ll be with someone, but every man in my past has done everything he could to make me submit myself to him, and it’s gotten in the way of my career. I won’t do it again.

But there’s Jonathan. He owns the high-rise hotel where I work, and he is gorgeous and charming. I refuse to fall in love with him, even though when he asks me to submit to him, I want nothing more.

She soon realizes that sometimes what you're searching for has been right there with you all along.

Unraveled by K Bromberg
UnRaveled is a darker erotic novella that is not suitable for people sensitive to non-consensual sex. This is a story about a stale marriage and the couple's unconvential attempt to find that spark again.

One night. One mistake. Filled with fear. Sated by pleasure. Robbed of control. Blindfolded and bound. Shamed she liked it. Doomed to want it.
Limits tested. Boundaries pushed. Desire awakened. Inhibition unleashed.
An identity unraveled. Lives changed forever.

Reasonable Doubt (Vol 2) by Whitney G
She lied to me... She betrayed the one rule that I'm most adamant about: Honesty. Complete and utter fucking honesty. I really wish she was someone else—someone who didn't have the ability to make me feel, someone I could easily discard like the hundreds of women before her. She isn't. I'm drawn to her like I've never been drawn to a woman before—completely captivated by the very sight of her. But unfortunately, with my past slowly re-surfacing for all of the world to see, I'll have to find a way to let her go.
