REVIEW - Unblocked, Episode 1 by Marni Mann

Derek Block seeks revenge. Frankie Jordan seeks professional dominance. He wants her, she wants him. Lines that can't cross begin to blur. Things start heating up as real estate gets real…

This is the first episode of a five-episode novella series Timber Towers.

Unblocked, Episode 1 (Timber Towers #1) by Marni Mann
Teaser with enough there to make you want more.

I don't like to read episode and part books because if you get a hold of a good one and you get hooked you have to wait for the next release and by that time I have moved on.

Unfortunately for me, I became intrigued in the "almost" relationship between Derek the handsome, dominate burly and muscular developer and Frankie, the attractive, gray-eyed beauty who's caught his eye.

They have an instant attraction but something is holding Frankie back, other than the fact that she wants his business and doesn't want to soil her professional reputation by sleeping with her clients.

Things heat up and after getting caught by her ex in a compromising position with Derek, Frankie puts a halt on things. Derek is NOT having it. To be continued......

One more this that guy on the cover is soooooooooooo not Derek. He reminds me of Seth Green. LOL. So much for big and burly. I guess we will have to use our imaginations.

Best-selling Author Marni Mann knew she was going to be a writer since middle school. While other girls her age were daydreaming about teenage pop stars, Mann was fantasizing about penning her first novel. She crafts sexy, titillating stories that weave together her love of darkness, mystery, passion, and human emotion. A New Englander at heart, she now lives in Sarasota, Florida with her husband and their two dogs who subsequently have been characters in her books. When she's not nose deep in her laptop working on her next novel, she's scouring for chocolate, sipping wine, traveling to new locations, and devouring fabulous books.
