ABOUT JOHN THRUST (NARRATOR)

I wanted to be an actor as far back as I can remember, but I was never attracted to the lifestyle. In school whenever the teacher asked someone else to read aloud I remember often thinking, “You’re not reading it right, let me do it”. In college my communication degree required that I take oral interpretation classes. I took first and second level classes and crushed them. I ended up in radio. A comprise, of sorts, to acting. I did the commercials and loved doing goofy character voices; sexy huh? During that time I did a local theater production and the director said I should go to the big city and get working. Sometime later I auditioned to train for The Second City’s touring group. I got in and was doing well… but… the lifestyle. I’ve been dabbling in voice acting for many years and have been recording audio books along the way and so… here I am. I’m OK with the lifestyle.
